Just The DVD Kiosk Business Facts Ma'am! Home

DVD Kiosks are very expensive and unless you have real earning expectation you are going to be disappointed. More about this later. I always get the question "Can you make a good living income in the DVD Kiosk business?" and the answer to that is like any legitimate business, yes with the correct business plan you can be successful with hard work and dedication, the old saying “nothing comes easy” applies here.

What does it take to become successful? This is a very intelligent question; You will need good locations and with high traffic and several machines 8-15 DVD kiosks. Start out small with 1-2 in good locations and build from there. Don’t make a commitment to purchase the machines until you have canvassed your area for potential locations. Don’t just drive by and think “I will put one there”. Go into the location and talk to the owner (not an employee) about putting a DVD in his/her store. You will make the pitch of 10-20% of net profits (minus any charge backs from rentals) this one step can save you thousands because if you buy the machines and then you cannot place them you are stuck with kiosks that are going to be difficult to sale.

You don’t need to be a movie buff but it will help if you keep up on the latest DVD releases. Try www.imdb.com for current DVD trends. They have a listing of the Top DVD Kiosk Rentals and this information is worth its wait in gold. Nothing like spending $500 on DVD movies that now one wants to watch. the general public can sometimes be very hard to figure out, just because you thought the movie was a blockbuster doesn't mean your neighbor will. Also, I cannot stress enough the real need for good locations. You can’t put a machine in a business that gets 50 patrons a day. It needs at least 300 – 400 customers daily. >>>>NEXT PAGE
